These Terms govern registration for, and participation in, tournaments organised under the Valiqa Sports Events brand by Robin Sports Relations. By registering, the participant and, where applicable, their parent or legal guardian, agree to be bound by these Terms.
01. Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to every registration submitted through valiqasports.com or any other Valiqa Sports Events registration channel. Submitting a registration form, and ticking the "I have read and agree to Terms & Conditions" box, constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
If a participant is under 18 years of age, these Terms must be accepted by a parent or legal guardian on the participant's behalf, and references to "you" in relation to consent, declarations, and undertakings are to that parent or guardian.
02. Definitions
- "RSR" / "we" / "us" – Robin Sports Relations, the organiser of Valiqa Sports Events tournaments.
- "Valiqa" – Valiqa Sports Events, the tournament programme operated by RSR.
- "Participant" / "Player" – The individual registered to take part in a tournament.
- "Registrant" – The person submitting the registration form (the Player, or their parent/guardian if the Player is a minor).
- "Tournament" – Any cricket, football, basketball, or other sporting event organised or branded under Valiqa Sports Events.
03. Eligibility & Registration
- Tournaments are open to players aged 7 to 19 years, or such other age range as published for a specific Tournament.
- All information submitted on the registration form must be true, current, and complete. Providing false information (including age, playing history, or medical disclosures) may result in disqualification without refund.
- Registration is subject to verification and is not confirmed until RSR has reviewed the submitted form and supporting documents and issued written confirmation.
- RSR reserves the right to decline, defer, or reallocate a registration where a Tournament category is full, where eligibility criteria are not met, or at its reasonable discretion.
- Updates on registration status, schedules, and Tournament logistics will be communicated via WhatsApp and email using the details provided on the registration form. It is the Registrant's responsibility to ensure these details are correct and monitored.
04. Registration Fees & Payment
The registration fee for a Tournament (currently AED 1,200, unless otherwise stated for a specific Tournament) must be paid in full at the time of registration through the payment method provided. A place in the Tournament is not guaranteed until payment has cleared and registration has been verified.
Fees are quoted in UAE Dirhams and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
05. Cancellations, Refunds & Postponements

The refund and cancellation schedule below is a standard placeholder structure. RSR should confirm its actual refund windows, deadlines, and any non-refundable portion of the fee before this document is published.
- Cancellations made by the Registrant more than [X] days before the Tournament start date are eligible for a refund of [X]% of the registration fee.
- Cancellations made within [X] days of the Tournament start date are non-refundable, except where required by law or at RSR's discretion in cases of documented medical emergency.
- Where RSR postpones or reschedules a Tournament, registrations will be automatically carried over to the revised date at no additional cost. Where RSR cancels a Tournament outright, a full refund will be issued.
- Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
06. Player Conduct & Code of Conduct
All Participants, and where relevant their parents, guardians, and accompanying club representatives, are expected to conduct themselves with fairness, discipline, and respect toward fellow players, coaches, umpires, officials, and spectators.
- Abusive, discriminatory, violent, or unsporting conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification from the Tournament without refund.
- Participants must comply with the playing rules, format, and schedule published for the Tournament, and with the reasonable instructions of RSR officials and umpires.
- Any equipment, jersey, or apparel requirements communicated for the Tournament must be adhered to.
07. Health, Fitness & Medical Declaration
By registering, the Registrant confirms that the Participant is medically fit to take part in the Tournament and has disclosed, to the best of their knowledge, any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or mental health considerations relevant to safe participation, in the registration form.
RSR relies on the accuracy of this declaration in making participation and safety arrangements. The Registrant undertakes to notify RSR promptly of any change in the Participant's medical condition prior to the Tournament.
08. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participation in cricket, football, basketball, and other sports carries an inherent risk of injury. By registering, the Registrant acknowledges this risk and agrees that, to the maximum extent permitted under UAE law, RSR, its officers, employees, coaches, and volunteers shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in a Tournament, except where such injury, illness, loss, or damage is caused by the proven negligence or wilful misconduct of RSR.
Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
09. Insurance

Confirm whether RSR arranges Tournament accident/injury insurance for participants, or whether participants are responsible for arranging their own cover, and state the position plainly here before publication.

10. Photography, Video & Media Consent
Tournaments are photographed and filmed for match records, live scoring, individual recognition, and promotional use by RSR and Valiqa Sports Events across their website, social media, and marketing materials, as further described in the Privacy Policy. Registration constitutes consent to this use unless the Registrant notifies RSR in writing before the Tournament begins.
11. Communications
The Registrant consents to receive Tournament-related communications, including schedules, verification requests, and updates, via WhatsApp and email. Promotional communications about future Tournaments may also be sent, and the Registrant may opt out of these at any time while continuing to receive essential Tournament-operations messages.
12. Intellectual Property
All Tournament branding, the Valiqa Sports Events name and marks, RSR's name and marks, and all associated logos, designs, and content are the property of RSR and may not be used, reproduced, or represented without prior written consent.
13. Force Majeure
RSR shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including extreme weather, government action, public health restrictions, venue unavailability, or other events of force majeure. In such circumstances, Section 5 (Cancellations, Refunds & Postponements) shall apply.
14. Disciplinary Action & Disqualification
RSR reserves the right to disqualify a Participant from a Tournament, without refund, for breach of these Terms, the Tournament code of conduct, or the reasonable instructions of officials. Disciplinary decisions made by on-ground officials during a Tournament are final.
15. Data Protection
Personal data collected through registration is processed in accordance with RSR's Privacy Policy, available at valiqasports.com. By registering, the Registrant acknowledges the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, consents on behalf of a minor Participant to the collection and use of their data as described in it.
16. Amendments
RSR may update these Terms from time to time. The version and effective date at the front of the document indicate the applicable revision. Continued registration or participation following a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of [insert Emirate, e.g. Dubai], United Arab Emirates.
